For the foundation, I chose to use the floating piers which are more cost effective and supposedly easier to work with. I decided that the ground was settled enough, and relatively level. The floor joists are made with pressure treated 2X6’s

What kind of wood did you use here?
Thanks,

I was not sure about the angle of the rain and thought I would err on the side of extra precaution. Ultimately the overhang probably is not necessary. I’ve seen some cool looking sheds that don’t have it at all.

Hi James. This is pressure treated 2″ X 6″ pine
what size is the footprint and what is the distance between the joists
ignore request for dimensions – I have then now!
No problem – let me know if you have any other questions!
Great stuff and thanks for sharing!
Question: Why did you decide to implement an overhang (looks to be around 12″) on the longest side?
Thank You

Best shed build ever. Thanks for the detail!
Thanks James!
