The window is from the salvage yard. I wanted fixed aluminum frame windows but found them difficult to order and extremely expensive. Strangely, commercial builders seem to use modern fixtures, but DIYers like me are stuck with the often ugly and extremely limited choices at Home Depot or Lowes. In any case, I was happy with this window, but it was not exactly what I wanted.
